AMPLIFI provides courses, learning solutions, and digital storytelling, as well as strategy and marketing advice for fast growth companies and leaders of the new economy. He is also Adjunct Faculty and a Doctoral Fellow at George Washington University where he is active in KM educational initiatives. His area of scholarship is the management of technology and innovation.

Michael has joined forces with Group Jazz to capture digital stories from the Fannie Mae Foundation's 2001 Annual Housing Conference "Reframing the Affordable Housing Challenge: Exploring Market, Regulatory, and Design Strategies to Improve Housing Opportunities." The primary goal was to seek out participant comments that are often lost in hallway conversations. Video clips from conference participants will be featured on Fannie Mae's KnowledgePlex, a virtual information marketplace, where practitioners, policy makers and scholars alike can share and obtain valuable industry news and ideas. The site will also have on-line communities that will provide users with an interactive environment where they can explore hot topics, issues and trends affecting affordable housing and community development. It is also a space for live, online chats, threaded discussions and document sharing amongst industry players.
